Special Note:  Every pre-registered attendee will receive two free tickets to the March 29 Iowa Energy game.  In addition, every member who brings a guest will get their name and their guest’s name entered in a drawing to win two free tickets to the June 1 Iowa Barnstormers game.  A total of four tickets will be given away to this game.  

In 1954, Veterans Memorial Auditorium was one of the largest arenas and exhibit halls in the country that competed with leading venues in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.  This historic site recently underwent a major renovation and is now a beautiful state of the art Convention Center with 27 meeting rooms, Iowa’s largest ballroom (over 28,000 square feet!), and a touching tribute to the state’s many servicemen and women.

So how are they ensuring the success of this costly renovation?  Attend this luncheon and learn more about the Vision Iowa grant Polk County received to bolster their marketing strategy and how they are using that to promote the venue now and into the future.  Attendees also will be treated to a guided tour of the beautiful venue to see the remarkable changes that have been made.
