A case study using Herman Cain, Rick Perry and Justin Bieber.

The road to the White House can be a bumpy one, especially for the 2012 Republican Presidential Candidates. Amid sexual harassment allegations, infidelity, and debate freezes, this Presidential Race has been one for the numbers. Just weeks after the Iowa Caucus, Governor Rick Perry’s Iowa Chairman, Robert Haus, will share how their team navigated through a number of “crises” and will also highlight the good, the bad, and the ugly of Herman Cain’s campaign.

He’ll also talk about how Justin Bieber navigated his recent crisis, and how every candidate and corporate PR team could learn from his response. You’ll take away the top five tactics for crisis communications no matter how big or small the situation.

Our speaker, Robert Haus, has worked for and advised Republican candidates for President, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, statewide office, and the Iowa Legislature. Over the past five years, he has focused on media creative services and communications work for corporate and political clients, and is currently the Vice President of Public Affairs for PolicyWorks, a local public affairs firm.
