Awards season for communications professionals is just around the corner. Gear up for submitting your best work for PRSA Iowa’s signature PRIME Awards (and other awards programs, too!) with tips from two awards-writing pros.
Kevin Waetke, APR, Fellow PRSA, and Sara Wille will share best practices for drafting your award submissions, highlighting tips for each section of our PRIME Awards entry forms. They’ll also share insights on what they look for and what stands out to them as past judges of PRSA and other communications and marketing-related awards.
Come with your award entry ideas in mind and leave ready to create stronger submissions. You’ll also be the first to get a look at PRSA Iowa’s 2021 Awards program!

Sara Wille
Human Resources Director - Federal Home Loan Bank
It’s funny how an aversion to numbers as an elementary kid could create a love for words. But that’s what happened. While her relationship with numbers has improved over the years, it turns out after four decades, words still have her heart.
Sara Wille is a two-time Silver Anvil winner and has been in the industry for more than 25 years – holding several corporate communication roles before starting a communication and management consulting business. Today, Sara is a Human Resources Director at the Federal Home Loan Bank where she leads a rock star team focused on talent, development, and employee communications. She also serves on the Board of the Beacon of Life.
Outside of work, she’s a mom, wife, and a wanna-be golfer.
This program is sponsored by Bankers Trust.
