A note from Michelle Egan, APR, Fellow PRSA, 2023

Artificial Intelligence has captured the attention of comms pros and others—especially since the launch of the generative large language model ChatGPT, just 8 months ago. We're all asking:

• What are the opportunities?
• What are the risks?
• How do I navigate ethically?

PRSA staff and volunteers in all corners of the organization have been facing AI issues head-on, with webinars, PD, blog posts, and more. It's exactly what I've come to expect from this "community of ethical communications professionals, building for tomorrow, today."

In response to the interest, we launched an AI Community Forum for you to discuss, share best practices and resources and support one another in this AI frontier. I look forward to your contributions to the forum and I'll be monitoring for use in my own practice and contributing to the community.
