Voices for everyone. That’s the name and the focus of PRSA’s new initiative, called Voices4Everyone (V4E) which underscores the role, value and power of public relations and professional communicators in advancing the public good.

So, how does V4E go about its mission?

By empowering thought leadership, harnessing collective expertise and insight like that of Iowa PRSA members and PRSA members across the country. The new program also aims to foster informed decision-making through meaningful dialogue and supporting a healthy environment for information exchange. It also positions PRSA and PR professionals as influencers and change agents while addressing tough issues like civility, civil engagement and ethical behavior.

The Voices4Everyone program aims to improve the abilities of the public relations community and the communities we serve. For example, through strategic plan alignment, ongoing professional development, and the ability to access curated content on critical matters. The program forum also helps provide data-driven information, plus the essential tools and resources PRSA members and PR professionals need to succeed.

The V4E program centers on four content pillars:

  1. Diversity and inclusion
  2. Disinformation
  3. Civility
  4. Civic Engagement

V4E content available to PRSA members includes resources designed to test and build your media literacy, as well as inclusive language guides to help start conversations and shape content creation. Resources also include a PRSA white paper on how communicators can model civility, plus websites to help PR pros connect with community engagement opportunities.

PRSA says new, original content rooted in the values of the PRSA Code of Ethics will be added to the Voices4Everyone website in the future.
