What’s Next for PRSA? Leadership Assembly Sets the Stage
A new board of directors was elected for 2025. Two PRSA National bylaw amendments were approved.
These were two significant highlights from the 2024 PRSA Leadership Assembly in Anaheim. PRSA Iowa delegates Dawn Buzynski, APR, and Ryan Johnson, APR, represented the chapter at the meeting and cast votes on behalf of our members.
In a contested race for PRSA Chair-Elect for 2025, Heide Harrell, APR, defeated Jessica Graham, APR, Fellow PRSA. Both candidates had an opportunity to address delegates and give their pitch for why they should be the PRSA Chair in 2026.
The two bylaw amendments passed will simplify the national nominating process for future PRSA board of directors.
