PRSSA Update: University of Iowa Chapter

The University of Iowa PRSSA Chapter is thrilled to be up and running once again. 

Our inaugural chapter meeting was held on Feb. 7 and drew nearly 30 students eager to dive into the world of PRSSA. We discussed the organization's mission and outlined our plans for the semester ahead. During our second meeting on Feb. 21, we invited a representative from the Johnson County Clean Energy District to come and speak about a PR project our members will have the opportunity to collaborate on this semester. 

Looking ahead, our chapter is eagerly anticipating continued collaboration with our clients on various PR projects. Additionally, we're planning to host industry professionals as guest speakers at our meetings and organize a networking event in conjunction with the School of Journalism and Mass Communication's Professional Advisory Board Members.

We're incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement provided by PRSA Iowa as we've revitalized our chapter and we look forward to a future full of collaboration.
