Leadership Assembly Heads West

You might consider me a veteran as I serve my third and final year as a PRSA Iowa Chapter delegate. It’s my responsibility to represent our chapter at the annual business meeting in Anaheim, California. 

One of my key responsibilities as a delegate is gathering feedback from our members. Last year, I participated in a series of Leadership Assembly roundtable discussions, where I had an opportunity to share insights about our chapter. It was as much a learning experience for me as it was an opportunity to share best practices from PRSA Iowa.

Fellow delegate Dawn Buzynski and I will be gathering feedback to take to the Leadership Assembly on Monday, Oct. 14. 

Dawn and I will also share any proposed PRSA bylaw amendments at least 60 days before the Assembly. Upon sharing the amendment proposals, we will gather feedback and use it to inform our voting decisions.

That’s enough governance discussion for summer. Enjoy the outdoors, see a ballgame at Principal Park and look for more Assembly updates in the coming months.
